BY AIR: There are two airlines flying to Manta:
Arriving at the airport: take a taxi to the "Terminal Terrestre Manta" where you must take a bus called "Manglaralto". The first bus leaves at 6:00am and the following buses every two hours until 4:00pm. From Manta to Pacoche it is a 30 minutes drive
By bus: If you want to travel by bus, there are several buses that will go to Manta:
The duration of the trip is of about 7-8 hours. Once you arrive to the "Terminal Terrestre Manta" you should take a bus called "Manglaralto". The first bus leaves at 6:00 am and the following buses every two hours until 4:00pm. From Manta to Pacoche it is a 30 minutes drive.
By car: If you have your own car you can have take the Panamericana to Alóag road. Reaching Alóag, you should take the road to Santo Domingo-El Carmen-Chone-Tosagua-Rocafuerte-Manta-via Costanera or via Pacifico (E15), through the Aromo. The journey from Quito to Pacoche is approximately 8 hours.
By bus: You must take a bus from the "Terminal Terrestre de Guayaquil" to Libertad; bus frequency is every 30 minutes and from there, you take another bus to Pacoche Lodge called "Manglaralto". From Guayaquil to Pacoche is a journey of approx. 5 hours.
By car: El Progreso-Libertad-Manglaralto-Montañita-Olon-Ayampe-Las Tunas-Puerto Lopez-Puerto Cayo-Pacoche.
